Glenfiddich 15 Year Old

Description

Initially aged in European oak sherry casks and new oak casks for atleast 15 years. Then inspired by the bodegas of Spain and Portugal, Glenfiddich 15 year old it left to mellow and intensify in a unique Solera Vat. This is a large oak Vat at the Glenfiddich distillery, always atleast half full it hasn’t been completely emptied since 1998.

The Solera Vat intesifies the malt making it richer and more complex, adding layers of warm spice, honey and rich fruit. Aromas of vanilla fudge mingle with hints of marzipan, cinnamon and ginger: enjoy this whisky neat to experience its depth of character.
