Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Brora is the first in a series of special releases created by Johnnie Walker.  Rich velvety smooth blend of eight treasured Scotch Whiskies crafted by Johnnie Walker Master Blender, Dr. Jim Beveridge. This special release includes three ‘ghost’ whiskies from the closed distilleries of Cambus, Pittyvaich and the Highland Single Malt, Brora, which brings a deliciously light peatiness and sophisticated subtle sweetness to the palate.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: The aromas are fragrant and unique for a blend with notes of warm oak, tilled earth, roasting herbs, maple, and dark chocolate.

Palate: The flavor profile is rich with warm walnuts, plenty of apples and pears, a bit of caramel and apricot, and something that reminds me of Tequila in the earthiness.

Finish: The finish is long, lightly sweet, and dry with oak tannins.
