This special-edition package marries traditional Chinese ceramic artistry with one of the House of Walker?s rarest and most luxurious Scotch whisky blends, according to the brand of Norwalk, Conn.-based Diageo North America. The ram?s associations with good fortune, beauty and a determination to reach new heights inspired the packaging design, which features artwork depicting three rams standing in distinguished positions, a traditional reference to the Book of Changes signifying a New Year of great fortune.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
A mellow, rounded nose, with a dry smokiness (a Johnnie Walker signature flavour) mixed with raisin sweetness.

PALATE:
The first sip reveals a velvety mouthfeel, then an explosion of flavour ? hazelnuts, honey, rose petals, sherry and oranges. Subsequent sips reward you with more hidden secrets like kumquats, wispy aromatic smoke, sandalwood, tobacco, and dark chocolate.
