Description
The Chugoku Jozo Distillery Co. in Japan produces the blended whisky. For the Togouchi Kiwami, it sources malt whisky from Scotland and grain whisky from Canada. Its unique taste is not only characterized by the combination of the three countries. The whisky matures in Japan in a constant climate in an old railway tunnel. The tunnel dates back to the 1970s and is now the perfect tunnel system for whisky maturation. Here, light, temperature and humidity are always constant. This is how the whisky develops a rich aroma in Japan.
